Jeffrey M. Malsch


Jeffrey M. Malsch is a founding partner with the firm. His practice area is concentrated in product liability defense of consumer products, including firearms, ammunition, other hunting and outdoor related products, and power tools, as well as industrial machinery. He also has extensive experience litigating New York based claims involving construction sites (personal injury, construction defect and commercial disputes), labor law, civil rights, asbestos, environmental and toxic torts, premises liability, automobile liability, and insurance coverage disputes.

Jeff has litigated product liability cases in state and federal courts throughout the nation as national counsel for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. He also serves as local counsel to out-of-state firms. Jeff continues his representation of clients at the appellate level, and has reported decisions from federal and state appellate courts around the country.

Jeff provides risk management and product consultation services to clients, including initial product roll-out evaluation, instructions and warnings reviews and drafting, recall evaluation and procedures, document retention policies and other litigation avoidance protocols. He has lectured to industry executives and members regarding best practices, compliance and litigation related topics.

Jeff lives in Westchester County, New York with his wife, Valerie, and their four children, Sydney, Peyton, Willow and Hudson. He enjoys skiing and traveling with his family, and rooting for his hometown teams, the Redskins and the Capitals.
